Fun times with the bride and groom!
Our shared love of the outdoors led us to the idea of a camping wedding. Emilie's dear friend, Katie, found us this beautiful retreat center with glamping accommodations and a semi-remote location. We hope you'll love Puma Hills as much as we do! Our vision is to spend a fun, relaxed, camping-style weekend with you - our dearest friends and family. There's a lot to know about the weekend. Pop over to the schedule and lodging pages for details on accommodations and events. Here's some basic info to help you plan for the weekend: • Meals: are provided all weekend by our caterer and will be based on a vegetarian/pescatarian diet with gluten-free options available. If anyone in your party has a special diet, please plan to bring additional food. • Wildlife Safety: Extra snacks/food or anything scented including lotions, perfumes, toothpaste, etc. MUST be stored in cabins, the main lodge, or 'bear bins' to avoid attracting wildlife overnight. Do not leave these items in your car! • Location: This is a private, sprawling property adjacent to national forest with many onsite activities and gathering spaces. • Lodging: Lodging is limited and must be booked by April 20th via the links on the travel page of this site. Because of the remote location and structure of the weekend, guests must have onsite lodging to attend. We have worked with the venue to offer a range of fun options for your stay. • Walking: There is a bus for transportation within the property but if you are able, plan on doing a lot of walking in comfortable shoes. • Reception: Cell Service is limited to wifi from the main cabin area. • Attire: Creative Semi-Formal Attire is requested for the ceremony and reception. The dance floor is artificial turf - heels are not recommended. The rest of the weekend, dress for the outdoors. • Alcohol: Will be served at the cocktail hour and reception only. Outside alcohol is not permitted and must be consumed in your lodging or discreetly. • Altitude: We will be at almost 8,000 feet. Hydrate, wear sunscreen, and rest as needed. We will have oxygen available.
