Question

What's the venue like?

Answer

Springton Manor Farm is a manor house located within a state park. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will hopefully be out on the lawn behind the house, weather permitting. If it is raining, we will be utilizing a covered patio. The reception will be held underneath a permanent tent (on concrete!) located next to the house. Bathrooms are located inside the house. Dress for the weather! https://springtonmanorfarm.com/

Question

COVID-19 Updates

Answer

Please keep checking back on our website for the most up to date information regarding state-wide restrictions and plans. We have the green light to hold the wedding at full capacity (we are expecting ~90 guests). You will see on our RSVP cards we have included a spot for you to fill out your travel plans for the 14 days following the wedding. This is required by the venue in case you need to be contacted after the event. Please reach out to Liz at ejones@udel.edu or 610-334-2880 if you have any questions.

Question

How will COVID-19 be addressed at the venue?

Answer

Springton Manor Farm has a plan in place to keep all guests and staff members safe during COVID-19. All staff members will be wearing a mask and gloves. An individual from the venue staff will be in charge of sanitizing night touch areas all night. Seating will be arranged so that groups of no more than 10 guests are within 6' of each other. Masks will be available for your use, but please bring your own if you can. Sneeze guards will be in place during cocktail hour for the appetizer station with an attendant. The dance floor has been moved to the patio next to the tent (still covered) to allow for extra space. If you would like more information on how Springton Manor Farm is navigating this pandemic, please feel free to reach out to Liz at ejones@udel.edu or at 610-334-2880.

Question

What if I don't feel comfortable being in a group of people yet?

Answer

We completely understand if any of our guests feel uncomfortable with traveling or being around a large group of people. Your health and safety is our first priority and we will understand if you do not wish to attend the wedding. We are hopeful that we will be able to provide a live-stream of our church ceremony for those who cannot be physically present. Stay tuned for more details.

Question

Transportation

Answer

A bus will take guests from the Springhill Suites hotel at 4:00pm on Sunday before the venue ceremony. There will be two buses running from the venue back to the hotel at the end of the night at 9:15 and 10:15pm. The buses will be thoroughly wiped down between runs.

Question

If I’m not able to make the ceremony, can I watch a livestream?

Answer

Sure can! Here’s the link- https://saintpeterchurch.net/streaming/ The ceremony will start at 1:30pm on September 6, 2020. Thanks for joining us from afar!
