When will the bride and groom arrive at the resort and how long will they stay?

Answer

We're scheduled to arrive at the Majestic Colonial resort on Wednesday, Sept. 25 and return home on Friday, Oct. 4. We will be staying in the Colonial Club (the adults-only section) and we encourage guests to do the same if they're not traveling with children. If you are, please book your room in the family section. You're welcome to arrive and depart on any dates you wish (minimum stay of three nights)! Just don't miss our big day on Oct. 1!

How can I get transportation to and from the airport?

Answer

Round trip ground transportation is available for purchase through Destify. After you book your accommodations and transportation at DeAndraAndDustin.destify.com, someone at Destify will reach out to you 30 days before your flight. They will coordinate your transportation from the airport to the resort, and back to the airport on your departure day.

What do I need to know about cell phone service in the Dominican Republic?

Answer

Check with your cell phone carrier as there may be additional charges for calls and texts. We encourage you to use WhatsApp to communicate during your stay (if you don’t have it on your phone already, you can download it from your app store before leaving the country). We will set up a group chat in WhatsApp so we can share updates and make plans to get together at different times during the trip.

On average in October in Punta Cana, the high is 89 degrees and the low is 74 degrees.

How should I dress for the wedding?

Answer

We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible during our beach wedding ceremony, so we encourage you to wear lightweight, light-colored clothing. Consider wearing linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, sundresses and sandals for example.

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors are teal, burnt orange and beige. You’re welcome to wear one or more of these colors to the ceremony!

What language is spoken in the Dominican Republic?

Answer

Spanish is the country’s official language, but you don't need to know Spanish to navigate the resort.

Will there be events and activities for wedding guests at the resort?

Answer

We will host events during the trip, including a welcome dinner and at least one group excursion (we will share the details in the coming days). Following our wedding ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour, dinner and party. We also plan on inviting guests to join us for meals, entertainment, etc. at different times during the trip. We look forward to spending time with you, and above all, we want to make sure you have a fun and memorable vacation. Make it yours and spend time doing what makes you happy!
