FAQs

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We’re getting married on June 20, 2026, at Farragut State Park in Athol, Idaho. Exact ceremony and reception details (location within the park, parking, etc.) will be shared closer to the date.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our celebration will be outdoors, so think semi-formal with a touch of comfort — sundresses, dress shirts, or nice slacks are perfect. We recommend comfortable shoes since there may be a little walking on grass or gravel paths. Bring a light jacket — evenings at the park can cool down even in June.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be outside?

Answer

Yes! Both events will take place outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of the park. We’ll have shaded areas and seating, but feel free to bring sunglasses or a hat if it’s sunny.

Question

What’s the best way to get there?

Answer

Farragut State Park is located about 45 minutes north of Coeur d’Alene and 90 minutes east of Spokane International Airport. There’s ample parking near the venue area; more info will be shared as we finalize logistics.

Question

Do I need a park pass?

Answer

Yes — Farragut is a state park, so each vehicle will need an Idaho State Parks day-use pass (usually around $7 per car).

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Absolutely! Farragut is family-friendly, with open spaces, hiking trails, and even a beach area nearby. Just keep an eye on little ones around the water or wooded areas.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are camping options inside Farragut State Park (tent and RV sites) as well as hotels and vacation rentals in nearby Athol, Bayview, and Coeur d’Alene.
