Ark and I agreed to go on a blind date that Starnisha and Wilissa arranged. Although I was nervous and almost canceled just 45 minutes before it began, I’m so glad I didn’t (even if I did arrive late). When Ark greeted me at the door, I instantly felt a connection, and my nervousness faded. Ironically, we had both lived 15 minutes away from each other but had never met. As our relationship progressed over several months, I finally introduced him to my daughter, Blakely, and they quickly formed a special bond.
