We’re getting married! (again!)

While we may have reconnected on August 7th, 2020, we've actually known each other since kindergarten (see the photos in the gallery of us next to each other in class). Fast forward 17 years - Jen lived in New York City at the time, but luckily because of covid she was spending the summer of 2020 back home in Longmeadow. Jen's best friend was good friends with Bruce and when she saw him mowing her parent's lawn the morning of August 7th, she asked him if he wanted to come hang out that night with a small group of friends. He reluctantly said yes and ended up spending the whole night talking to Jen. The next day, he asked her on a date. Our first date was at Pizza Shoppe (if you know, you know). About two weeks later on August 23 after spending every day together, he asked Jen to be his girlfriend the same day she was moving back to New York City. For someone who hated the city, Bruce loved coming to visit over the next 9 months of long distance relationship. In June of 2021, Jen moved back home to attend grad school and moved in with Bruce. The next few years were spent full of adventures, happiness, and the newest addition to the fam - our golden retriever Huxley. On Jen's birthday, July 7th, 2025 Bruce proposed while we were in our bathing suits sitting by the pool. Sixteen days after getting engaged, on July 23rd 2025, we got married with our closest family in our backyard which was the most special, beautiful day. Now, we can't wait to renew our vows and celebrate our marriage with you all on August 22nd, 2026!
