The couple was initially brought together though a string of friends who insisted they should meet. They began messaging back and forth and talking on the phone for a few weeks before ever meeting in person. On their first date, Anthony made french press coffee and the two talked for hours. They continued on enjoying lunch dates downtown, church events and outings, and eventually family trips to Myrtle Beach, award shows in Nashville & Las Vegas and two trips to their favorite place, Navarre, Florida.
On Christmas day, surrounded by their families, they opened Christmas presents. Amanda’s present from Anthony was the last one to be opened. As Amanda picked up the box she noriced it was very light. Anthony took off the bow and handed it to her. She noticed there was a ribbon attached to the bow that dropped into a small hole in the box. As she pulled the ribbon she found a line of their favorite song written on a tag, and then another tag with another line, and so on. “I’ll walk through the fire,” ~ “I’ll run through the rain,” ~ “I’ll wait for forever,” ~ “if...” The last thing to come out of the box was a picture of an engraving, “Love Is Your Name.” Anthony then grabbed a small red ring box and got on one knee, and said, “will you please be my wife.” The line from their song had been engraved in the ring he designed. Amanda responded with, “of course!”
This story is yet to be written, and as they work to get all the details in place the couple hopes you’ll join in their celebration.
