When should I RSVP by? What happens if I miss the response deadline?

Answer

In order to plan for food and seating, responses are due no later than September 1, 2025. Contact us at durhamcollings25@gmail.com ASAP for responses after this date to inquire if the guest seating has been filled. We would LOVE to save a place for you, but our venue size is limited, so thank you for responding early!

May I bring a guest?

Answer

We are excited to celebrate our marriage with our closest family and friends. Due to venue space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your formal invitation.

May I bring my kids?

Answer

In order to allow guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. This excludes the little ones in our bridal party. We thank you for understanding!

May I give a gift? Is there a gift registry?

What type of clothing should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal. Ties are optional, collars on shirts are not. Our ceremony, weather permitting, will be outdoors with our reception primarily indoors.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A block of rooms have been reserved at the Doubletree Hotel in Bloomington and the Home 2 Suites in Normal. Please see the Travel section of this website for details on booking a room at the group rates. Room blocks will close on September 10th, 2025.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The venue will be available for guest seating at 4:00 pm, please arrive in time to be seated for a prompt start to our ceremony at 4: 30. Thank you!

Where should I go when I arrive?

Answer

Please use the sidewalk from the parking lot on the south side of the building to the patio area. There will be a welcome sign next to the entrance door at the east end of the patio that will take you into the event space.

Are photographs allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request an "unplugged" ceremony. Please turn off all devices and enjoy being in the moment with us.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

All wedding day events will take place on-site at the Destihl Barrel Room. You will be responsible for transportation; Uber and Lyft are available in Bloomington-Normal.
