Ensign Peak
Beautiful hike right in Downtown SLC, you'll go up Capitol Hill and pass a few incredible lookout points on your way to the trailhead, and an incredible panoramic view when you get to the top! The hike is pretty short and clearly marked, definitely worth an hour or so of your time in SLC!
Ivy & Varley
Our favorite downtown bar and restaurant! The Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Everything Brussels are top notch and there's a tiki bar (Why Kiki) next door if you want something a bit more lively after dinner! Both places also do brunch.
Lagoon Amusement Park
Tim, Alyssa, and Addie are Season Passholders and love racing down slides at Lagoona Beach or getting in a good scream on the rollercoasters. Grab a snack, play a game, there is nothing but fun at Lagoon!
City Creek Center Mall
At City Creek, you'll find shopping and residential elements, with foliage-lined walkways and streams covering two blocks in the heart of downtown Salt Lake. It's a great spot for shopping or food!
Hogle Zoo
Escape the city and enjoy all that SLC's downtown Hogle Zoo has to offer.
Solitude Mountain Resort
In the winter, Alyssa is an Ikon Passholder, so she tumbles/skis at Solitude while Tim enjoys the warm safety of the lodge. In the summer, Solitude has great views and events.
Bonneville Salt Flats
An iconic Utah photo opportunity, the Salt Flats are pretty remote, but incredible at sunset and golden hour!
