They met at work. They know that sounds cliche, but there was definitely an attraction at first site, but it took a while for Shannon to want to take the leap. She didn't want to make work awkward if something didn't work out, and the policies at their place of work, though they did not specify that it wasn't allowed, it was definitely something that was looked down on. After taking the chance and taking their time (and ultimately getting exposed by someone at their office) they started telling people and felt nothing but supported by friends and family afterwards. Their love grew quicker than either of them could even imagine and almost 3 years later they are ready to start their forever together!
