Tuesday, December 19, 2023 DJ went for a beer after work while Michelle was out running errands and stopped into The Iron Door in Uptown Minneapolis. The Wild were on TV and the two of them were cheering after a goal. DJ got up to go to the bathroom and "accidentally" bumped into Michelle's chair. They chatted the night away and DJ asked if he could take her out sometime but Michelle was going on vacation later that week. When she returned, she asked if his offer to take her out still stood. They enjoyed their first date and first kiss at Town Hall Tap in South Minneapolis and the rest is history!
