What is the attire?

Answer

The attire is black tie; however, men may choose between wearing either a tuxedo or dark suit. Women are asked wear a long dress.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your children! However, we kindly ask that no children attend the ceremony or reception, aside from those with special roles in our wedding. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can join us in celebrating. This is Parents' Night Out – enjoy your evening!

Question

Will transportation be provided to the venue?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided because both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue. There is ample parking at the venue. We do understand that some may opt to take rideshare services. We would like to make you aware that rideshare in this neighborhood can be VERY slow to arrange. We advise planning a driver ahead of time or carpooling with other guests.

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests refrain from bringing a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

What if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors at the Palmetto Club; however, in the chance that there is inclement weather, you will receive a text 1 hour before the ceremony with instructions on where to go. If you receive this text it will be held indoors at Skidaway Island Baptist Church on 2 Westridge Road, Savannah, GA 31411. This is approximately a 5 minute drive from the Palmetto Club. For those who choose to take a rideshare service, we suggest you schedule a service in advance or carpool to the reception as rideshare services can take over 30 minutes to arrive. The reception will be held indoors regardless of rain.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Due to our venue being in a gated community, please allow for extra time arriving to the ceremony. Entrance to the venue will open one hour prior to our ceremony time. We recommend arriving to the venue at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
