Once upon a time there were two individuals that didn’t have the slightest idea the other one existed. One of these individuals - obsessed with Spongebob the other obsessed with Drake. The first direct connection that Alex and Kevin shared, was an impromtu Facebook message referencing Kevin's cousin Kyle. Ironically, the situation would end up becomming a comical pick-up joke the two would share. Luckily for Kevin, Alex thought the conversation was one worth continuing as the two began to chat over the following days and weeks.
One of the rather important events in the relationship began on the eve of the December 4, 2015. The Grand Illumination in Downtown Richmond, of which Alex had never attended but Kevin had been multiple times. The plan was to meet downtown with a group of Alex's friends and participate in the lighting show and then make our way back towards the Fan and Carytown to bar-hop. Ironically, after a comedic misscommunication Alex and friends ended up visting Legend's Brewery, which was hosting an event to view the Illumination, whereas Kevin had actually been downtown to attend the event. After re-corodinating what the plan was - the two finally got together and enjoyed an adventurous night downtown that would eventually become a rather normal cycle early on in the relationship. Richmond's downtown would become a regular stomping ground for the two of them - as they would visit bars, events, and continue to grow a stronger bond over common interests. Eventually, there would come a point after a handful of dates and outings - Alex and Kevin would make their relationship official on December 17, 2015.
The proposal...an event that became another quite another circumstance unplanned. Originally scheduled to commence on the fourth anniversary of the official December 17th celebration of their anniversary - was rescheduled. A life lesson - that even pre-planned circumstances still are never perfect. Downtown was always a crucial gathering point - and consecuitive years of visiting the grand illumination set up an ideal circumstance to propose. The two would even visit a pop-up bar featuring Game of Thrones - a series the couple shared in the torture of season 8. Unfortunately - the timing wasn't right and didn't feel like a picture-perfect scenario. Kevin always had a back-up plan and fortunately it happened to associate with another iconic holiday - Christmas. The classic engagement ring in the Chirstmas Tree setup - which unfolded on Christmas afternoon when the two would return home to visit their two cats before preparing for Christmas dinner. The fact you're reading this I think gives away her answer - otherwise this story might end up even more dissapointing than Jon and Daenerys. Fortunately, they have lived happily for all of their days together.
