We’re getting married!

Corey and Laura matched on the dating app Hinge on May 23, 2019 when Corey was in the airport headed to a family vacation to Italy. They began talking back and forth the entire weekend. Corey says: “I knew Laura was different the minute we started talking. I found myself trying to stay awake while in Europe to try and talk to her despite being in different time zones. We talked non stop for a month before we first met, and as the day of our first date got closer, I found myself beyond nervous and excited to meet her.” Laura says: “I enjoyed talking to Corey from the start. I found myself constantly checking my phone to see if he had texted back. I realized shortly we had many things in common from traveling and things we enjoyed doing. He was kind, funny and genuine. He let me be who I was and didn’t judge me. I couldn’t wait to meet him.” Corey and Laura had their first date at Willie McBrides in Branchburg, NJ and later spent the night dancing with friends in Morristown, NJ. On July 26 in Wildwood, NJ Corey asked Laura to be his girlfriend. They dated long distance driving 2 hours every other weekend from West Chester, PA to Morristown, NJ until they moved together to Myrtle Beach, SC April 11, 2020. On November 13, 2020 Laura came home to a rose petal path surrounded by tea lights with Corey at the end, where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It is only fit that Corey and Laura spend their wedding dancing the night away in the first town they did.
