FAQs

The Wedding Website of Erin Morrell and Jacob Dunn
PLEASE take a moment to read through our FAQs, which include important details for our big day! If you have any other questions, please contact Erin!
Question

How Do I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invitations with RSVP information will be sent closer to the wedding date. For now, our website is here to share important details, travel information, FAQs, and updates leading up to the big day! Once invitations are sent out, guests can mail back their RSVP card and also check out the RSVP tab on our wedding website!

Question

What If I Don't RSVP In Time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by April 10th, 2027, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you; however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept any late RSVP's. This will mean that you are not allowed to show up on our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.

Question

What Should I Do if I Cannot Make It?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending," but find that you cannot make it, please notify Erin as soon as you are aware.

Question

Can I Bring a Date or a Plus One?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to "Your Name & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is This a Kid Friendly Wedding?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones; however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event unless specified on your formal invitation.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is semi-formal. Please, no jeans, sneakers, and, of course, no wearing white dresses!

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, and we ask that you arrive AND be in your seat NO LATER THAN 5 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier, which will give you time to park, leave us a message on the audio guestbook, and find your seat!

Question

What Is The Audio Guestbook?

Answer

Instead of a traditional guestbook, we’ll have an audio guestbook phone available throughout the wedding day for guests to leave us voicemail messages! Before the ceremony, during cocktail hour, throughout the reception, and at the afterparty, there will be a vintage-style phone available to share marriage advice, funny memories, heartfelt messages, hype us up, or even just check in after each drink lol… just leave us a message after the tone with whatever’s on your mind 😉☎️

Question

Can I Take Photos During the Ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "Unplugged" ceremony; no phones or cameras are allowed until the reception, and we kindly ask that all devices be silenced. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I Do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos and videos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like!

Question

Will The Wedding Take Place Indoor or Outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The reception is covered, so you’ll have some shade, but we still recommend bringing sunscreen and bug spray just in case. We also have a rain plan if needed!

Question

Will There Be an Open Bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you. We have waited a long time for this day, so party accordingly!

Question

Where Should We Stay?

Answer

Please check out the Travel tab on our website for nearby hotel recommendations, lodging information, and additional travel details!

Question

Will There Be an Afterparty?

Answer

Yes!! While the reception officially ends at 10pm, the party doesn’t have to stop there. There’s an after-party area at the venue where we can keep celebrating, with no strict time limit (as long as we’re out by 11 am Sunday morning!). Alcohol WILL BE provided from right after the ceremony through 10pm. The after party area is BYOB, so feel free to bring anything you’d like for later in the night. There’s plenty of space for a bonfire, and you’re more than welcome to bring a tent and lawn chairs if you want to stay, hang out, and celebrate with us!
