How We Met

10.12.2019

Andy and I actually met online. Our first date was at a craftHER market run solely by women. It was also the first time I had vegan food. Andy was a complete gentleman. I don't think either one of us was expecting anything serious, but we hit it off. If he was nervous, you couldn't tell. We talked about art, crafting, and what we like to do for fun. There was a comfort about him from the very beginning. I wish I still had the pins we bought at the market to remember that day.

The Kids

Butter and Pancakes

So, if there was one sign that made it so clear that we were meant to be it would be our kiddos, Butter and Pancakes. Andy got Pancakes 9 years ago. She has so much energy. If you need a workout buddy to go running, swimming, play fetch with, or any type of outdoor activities, she is your gal. She is also very loving and sweet. I got butter 5 years ago. I sneaked her into the house without anybody knowing. She is a calm cuddly dog. She loves food and snuggles. They get along so well.

Year 1

10.31.20

Within our first year, I learned so much about Andy. I knew he was the one for me, the one I had been waiting for when Apa's truck battery stopped working. He made the comment, "How can we grow a future if you do not let me help you". I know it sounds so cliche, but it is true. I cannot begin to explain the many reasons why and how I came to love this man, all I can explain is that God brought us together. God knew the man I needed in my life and He brought him to me.

The Proposal

6.5.21

Andy had pretended that his parents needed pictures of us, so we went to St. Edwards to take them. Halfway through trying to take pictures, he got down on one knee and proposed. I, of course, said, "YES!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Austin!
