Yes, most travelers from the U.S. will need a visa to enter Vietnam. We recommend applying online for an e-visa in advance through the official government website (https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn). Be sure to check your passport validity—it must be valid for at least 6 months from your travel date.

We suggest booking flights 3–6 months in advance to get the best rates and secure your preferred travel schedule. The closest airport is Da Nang International Airport (DAD).

We recommend arriving at least 1–2 days before the wedding (which is on February 7, 2026) to allow time to rest and adjust to the time difference.

Answer

The currency in Vietnam is the Vietnamese Dong (VND). While many places in Da Nang accept credit cards, cash is preferred at local markets or small vendors. You can exchange money at the airport or withdraw from an ATM using your debit card.

Semi-Formal Attire Recommended There is a high possibility our ceremony will be held on the beach. We kindly recommend sand-friendly footwear such as: For women: sandals, flats, or wedges For men: loafers, dress sandals, or boat shoes We want everyone to feel comfortable while celebrating with us by the sea!

Yes! Dinner and drinks will be provided during the reception. We’ll also have karaoke, so come ready to celebrate (and sing)!
