Our Story
Karlee and Kyle's story began their freshman year at Mizzou, where they met through a mutual friend. Living in the same dorm, they quickly became close friends and spent much of their college years together.
By junior year, they ended up as roommates. What started as a practical living arrangement turned into some of their favorite college memories, and through it all, they remained just friends.
After graduation, life took them on separate paths until Kyle invited Karlee to join him as his date to a coworker's wedding. That weekend changed everything, turning years of friendship into something more.
They navigated long distance while Kyle worked in Texas. When that chapter ended, Kyle asked Karlee to move with him to Charleston. She took the chance, and moved south in January 2025. Later that year, Kyle proposed.
While there may be another adventure or two ahead, they eventually hope to settle down in St. Louis to be closer to family and lifelong friends.
