Our friends Rosanne and Talitha run this amazing artist collective curated with all of the best Zambia has to offer. Before you go home, you must stop by the Collective to pick up a few treasures.
Check out Lusaka's National Park and watch the orphaned elephant feeding each day from 11:30am and learn a bit more about Zambia's National Parks and wildlife. There is a small cafe and a Lusaka Collective outpost at the National Park!
On Sundays from about 10am - 4pm, Arcades Mall (east side of town near airport) hosts a market in their parking lot with lots of different small stalls selling souvenirs (curios), baskets etc.

A beautiful opportunity to see local Zambian artist works - the classics and contemporary.
A must if you're in Livingstone - Agness Buya and Lawrence Yombwe, with their daughter Yande, are exceptional artists offering a unique opportunity to learn about Zambian history and tradition in Livingstone.
Our favorite restaurant and luckily our local haunt. You can spend a day at Lilayi walking or running on one of their three marked trails - you may run across Zebra, Giraffe, Warthog, Bush Pig or one of a dozen types of antelope (there are no carnivores, but stay away from the cheeky giraffe). You can have a swim in their beautiful pool and have breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Many of you will know Livingstone because it is home to Victoria Falls - one of Zambia's most important landmarks. A more touristy town with lots of different activities from helicopter rides over the falls, bungee jumping, river rafting, and train dinners, it's a great option for those who are not as set on a safari. However, there are safari options across the river in Botswana (Chobe National Park) which can give you an opportunity to experience both Victoria Falls and Safari!
Our heart home - where we first got to know each other and where Duncan proposed! The Kafue National Park is Zambia's largest national park, and offers a several different activities. Boating, canoeing, fishing, safaris.
The Lower Zambezi National Park is an incredible place to see the wide variety of wildlife Zambia has to offer. This location is also a great choice for birding, fishing, or canoeing.
Probably Zambia's most popular National Park destination with lots of different lodges and price points and a wide variety of game (this is the only park with giraffe in Zambia), this is a great choice for safari. There are not water-based activities in South Luangwa.
There are limitless spots to choose from in Southern Africa, so if you'd prefer to visit another country while you're here, this is a great opportunity. Some of our top recommendations are: Cape Town, South Africa (can't rave enough: wine, sea, penguins....what more do you want?) Kruger National Park, South Africa (South Africa's most popular National Park boasting "The Big 5") Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (same same but different. A great option to see Victoria Falls, and accessible with the multi-country Kaza visa) Namibia (a country built for an African road trip. Incredible desert, dunes, oceans, with German beer!)
