As most of you may know, Duncan and I met on a dating app. I remember our first date like it was yesterday. Pat's Pizza in Windham, ME. I was so nervous and because of that I only ate half of my meal - which never happens. Right when I met him, I knew right then - that he wasn't a serial killer. He was able to carry the conversation so easily and naturally and made me feel so comfortable. I was so hopeful on night one.

Duncan had been wanting to get professional pictures done for a while now. He had asked me when I was available to meet up with our friend, Caitlin Gillenwater (an amazing photographer). On December 20th we drove to Pier 19 in Tuftonboro, NH. A beautiful location right on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. Even though there was a good amount of snow, it didn't stop Caitlin from capturing some lovely shots. She introduced us to several poses we would do throughout the photoshoot, as well as the "prom" pose. When we started taking pictures in the prom pose, I felt Duncan let go of me, and as I turned around he was down on one knee! I couldn't believe it! The ring was beautiful, and I felt like the luckiest girl. It started snowing during the photoshoot as well! We love that we have this magical moment on camera.

We have just booked our honey moon!! We have decided to take a cruise on the Norwegian Cruise Line to Bermuda!! We are so excited as neither of us have been to Bermuda and it will be Duncan’s first time on a cruise! We can’t wait!
