Portugal summers are very humid and hot during the day and cooler at night, so we recommend a light wrap to cover bare shoulders and sunglasses for the outdoor ceremony.
Our afternoon ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be outdoors in the garden.
Our wedding will take place at the Palacio Nacional de Queluz on August 26, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 12am.
The ceremoney starts at 5:30pm sharp. The doors to the venue will open one hour prior. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a 10-minute walk from the parking lot) and find a seat.
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.
We love your children, but due to space restrictions, only children of the family will be in attendance on our wedding day.
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. We plan on having an entree choice that's vegan, gluten and nut free to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. If you have additional restrictions that goes beyond what our menu offers, please let us know in the designated section of your RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.
We will be providing shuttle service between the [hotel name] and venue. Ahead of the ceremony, there will be a shuttle at 4:30pm. After the reception, the shuttle will be transporting guests back to the hotel at 12am.
We have reserved a room block at NH Collection Lisboa Liberdade. Please book your stay by 5/27/2026 to guarantee a room in our block.
We will only be providing guest transportation for the actual wedding event. Our wedding welcome party location is a five-minute walk from the hotel and also easily accessible via ride-share service.
If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can easily find additional nearby accommodations via hotel or Airbnb.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home address. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Our reception will end around 12am, after which there will not be an after-party.
All of our guests are invited to join us for a welcome cocktail party before our wedding on Monday August 24th at SUD Lisaboa Terrazza 7:00pm.
