April 1st, 2025
We have reserved the entire hotel for our families and elders. If that's you, we have sent you a separate email with detailed instructions on how to book. For those that may be interested in alternative accommodations, let us know so we can offer a motel room for someone else that may need it.
It is possible, but only if you reach out to Garrett & Anna directly to see if there are available rooms (TBD on RSVP's).
We have reserved all the facilities at Blue Sky Center, a 7 minute walk from the Buckhorn. All bookings are managed by Garrett & Anna. The dorms and glamp huts are first come first serve. You can find all the room style and glamp info on the Travel/Lodging page on this website. Please reach out to Garrett & Anna, we're happy to provide more resources.
We mention this in the Travel: Blue Sky section. There are multiple bathrooms in the facilities (3 private bathrooms + 2 multi-stall bathrooms). There are 3 showers at the facilities (2 single bathroom showers + outdoor shower). We will be setting up additional outdoor warm camp showers. There may also be an implemented Shower Schedule to keep the showers open and available for everyone onsite. We also mentioned there will most likely be other creative ways to get ready. There are additional open rooms in the Blue Sky Flagship building that will be allowed for people to get ready. In addition, hotel guests (like our room) or local airbnb/house bathrooms can be coordinated for folks too, if needed. We will make it work!
Reach out to Garrett and Anna with your request. We've been trying to poll everyone about their accommodation preferences the last few months to gauge where people (or groups) would prefer to stay. Since we're handling most of the rentals and accommodations, let us know your thoughts and see if we can make the right arrangements for you or your family or group.
Only if specified in your digital invitation! If you have questions just text us.
We're keeping things casual for Friday night, but if you want to come lookin' fly, sharp, or with a flair, we aren't stopping you! Look your damned best if that's what makes you feel good.
Festive, celebratory, dressed-up-casual. If you want to go western, now's your chance! Just be prepared for uneven ground (gravel, sand, dirt) and the potential for chilly weather. Cuyama can get into the 40's at night, so bring something to layer over your fringe or Canadian tuxedo.
For those of you staying at The Buckhorn, it's a short 5 minute walk down Perkins Road. Many of you will be staying at Blue Sky, which is where the wedding and reception will take place.
3:30pm for a 4:00pm ceremony start.
Outdoors! We cannot control how the weather will be, but we chose it because historically, late April is amazing weather. We're hoping for warm days and moderate nights, but there's always a chance that the days can be a little warmer and/or the nights can be a little colder. Regardless, there will be wood fire pits around the reception area. The Cantina will be inside space for those who are seeking a little more comfort.
Only if indicated on your digital invitation email. If you have questions, just give one of us a call.

Sunday Morning - The Buckhorn offers breakfast options, or you can bring food/snacks for a light breakfast. If heading back to Santa Barbara, we recommend stopping at Bob's Well Bread in Los Alamos for some delicious food and a latte. If heading back to LA, stop at Rory's in Ojai for a bite!
We will be serving food and drink buffet-style (self-serve). If you have concerns, please email or call Anna or Garrett.
There are many short drives to nature hikes or vista points, such as the Carrizo Plain, Aliso Canyon Trailhead, or Santa Barbara Canyon. You can book a wine tastings at Condor's Hope Vineyard, or be poolside or playing Bocce at the Cuyama Buckhorn. We are working on additional programming, which (surprise) may include live screen printing or embroidery. You can check out this really cool community website to learn more about the valley: www.visitcuyama.com
Of course! New Cuyama is perfectly located where light pollution is the lowest in the greater region. On a clear night you can have some fun looking up and ponder all of life's intricacies. The night of the wedding (12:33 AM on 4/27) is officially the start of the new moon. Our wedding weekend will be a great weekend for stargazing since we are officially transitioning from the Pink Moon to the Flower Moon that night.
