Our Story
Our story begins with us sitting in Italian class at The University of Tennessee. The first time we spoke to one another was in a class group activity with another classmate, who commented on Shane's eyes and made things instantly awkward. Fast forward a few months later, and Lauren was out to lunch with a friend when Shane joined them. Lauren had no idea her friend knew this random guy who sat in front of her in class. From then on, study dates turned into real dates.
Our relationship has been chronicled in a book Shane has been writing since the beginning. He presented the last chapter when he proposed on October 7th, and Lauren realized after all this time, the original title of the book spelled out "Will you marry me". We have known from the beginning.
We can not wait to share a chapter of our lives with everyone on September 7th!
