We recommend exploring Gisenyi Town. Gisenyi town is a city in Rubavu district in the north-western part of Rwanda. 

From Kigali, you can travel to Gisenyi town by taking a bus that takes about 3 - 3.5 hours to arrive at Gisenyi. Some of the bus companies that operate here are Belveredere, Virunga Express and Ritco Limited.
