Rittenhouse Park has shopping, restaurants and views! This is one of our favorite spots to spend an afternoon. Rittenhouse Park is one of five original squares planned by city founder William Penn in the late 17th century and is the heart of Center City’s most expensive and exclusive neighborhood. Enjoy retail shopping in the area, all of which surrounds the handsome tree-filled park. Make sure you go to the Anthropologie on the corner of Walnut and 18th Streets. The building is beautiful and the home section in the lower level is a personal favorite. Head over to Parc (French-inspired restaurant) for a drink and bite. Parc is very popular, so make sure you make a reservation! If it's a nice day, they have outdoor seating with a great view of the park.
