Jacob and Hannah’s story began on April 24, 2007, when a 9 year old Hannah walked into the gymnasium of Christ The King. That day she wasn’t wearing socks, breaking dress code, and giving Jacob and his friends their first thing to make fun of her for. Through Sausage Fest, hospital hangs and general middle school shenanigans, Hannah was quickly integrated into the friend group. Jacob and Hannah’s will be the group’s fourth wedding. While they remained friendly through the years, Jacob and Hannah credit Ms. Rachinski’s Senior Writing class’s alphabetized seating arrangement and the fact that D comes after C for reigniting a close friendship before high school graduation. During college and their early twenties they stayed in contact, catching up on birthdays, when Jacob was in Seattle and when they were home for the holidays. When they both found themselves back in the Tri-Cities in 2022, they agreed to meet for lunch at Graze which turned into a 6 hour endeavor. Since then, they have been inseparable. Over the past 4 years, they have both grown individually and together, sticking by each other’s side while working towards, and accomplishing, many individual and joint goals. On May 15, 2025, Jacob asked Hannah to marry him at his family cabin in Wenatchee National Forest. They look forward to celebrating their love on September 18, 2027 in McCall, Idaho, near Hannah’s family cottage.
