Q&A

The Wedding Website of Kayla Keller and Ian Duffy
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re keeping our celebration intimate, so if a plus-one is included on your Save the Date or invitation, then absolutely! Otherwise, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To ensure all our guests can relax and enjoy the celebration, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Visit our Travel Page for more details! Whether you prefer an Airbnb, The Lakeside Inn, or a nearby hotel, the choice is yours.

Question

How long should I book my trip for?

Answer

To attend all the wedding events, we recommend arriving on Thursday before the Welcome Soirée. After the wedding on Friday, there are no additional events planned, so feel free to make the most of your time in beautiful Florida!

Question

Will transportation be provided for the Wedding?

Answer

Yes, transportation to and from the Sydonie Mansion will be provided! Pick-up and drop-off will be at the Lakeside Inn. More details will be shared closer to the date!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In March, Central Florida's weather can vary. The average temperature ranges from a high of 79° to a low of 49°, so you may want to bring a jacket for the cooler evenings. Please note that all our wedding events will be outdoors, so be sure to plan accordingly!

Question

What should I wear to the welcome soirée?

Answer

For our Eve in Ivory Welcome Soirée, please come dressed in shades of tan, white, and beige. Think relaxed, comfortable, and effortlessly stylish in soft, neutral tones. For ladies, it could be a sundress, matching set, or a blouse and khakis. For the gents, khaki/linen pants or shorts, and a plain shirt is perfect. Just lean into those neutral tones! Check out the style tab for some visual inspiration.

Question

What's the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is Garden Formal Attire. Elegant but suited to the outdoor setting. Opt for lighter colors, softer fabrics, and styles that reflect and embrace the Garden Theme! Think of styles that complement the natural beauty of a garden, with airy fabrics and soft hues. For the ladies: Dresses or Gowns in Midi to Maxi Length. Choose light, flowy fabrics like chiffon, silk, or lace. Avoid overly dark color palettes, and lean into the spring season for inspiration. Feel free to have fun with patterns, sequins, ruffles, and texture! For shoes, we will be outside, with the ceremony portion of the evening on the lawn. Keep that in mind for shoes. Florida March evenings can get chilly, so you might want a light jacket or shawl. For the gents: Light Suit or Dressy Separates: A lighter-colored suit is ideal. Navy is fine, but try to shy away from black. A tie is optional but adds a formal touch—consider a tie in a floral or subtle pattern for spring. Feel free to have fun with the wardrobe here. Take a peek at the Style & Attire tab for inspiration here.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by January 1st, 2025

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Sydonie Mansion.

Question

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:30 PM, and transportation will be provided to shuttle everyone back to the Lakeside Inn. While we won’t have an official after-party, there are a few local bars in town open until 2 AM, including Handlebar, Goblin Market, and Magical Meat Boutique.
