Brendan also known as "B" and Rebecca or "Becky" met on Memorial Day weekend 2022! Rebecca and Karen (Bridesmaid) were trying to find parking in Hermosa Beach to visit the Hermosa Fiesta. It was a busy day with lots of local beach traffic and as she was searching for parking for 45 min when she noticed a man reading on his balcony. Rebecca joked with Karen that he was definitely people watching instead. The girls found a parking spot right in front of his balcony but realized it was only 1 hour parking. Rather than continuing to search Rebecca decided to yell up to ask if he had seen any police ticketing. He told Rebecca that he hadn't and that she was ok to park there. Rebecca and the man went their separate ways. Two days later Brendan sent Rebecca a rose on Hinge not knowing either of them were each other (strangers who met off his balcony 2 days prior). Rebecca accepted and made the first date a FaceTime. While he was talking Rebecca had recognized his voice and then asked if he had a balcony in Hermosa Beach. That’s when she realized they had already met once before. The man on the balcony was Brendan! They got a second chance and the rest is history! They have been inseparable since and traveled to Italy last November where Brendan proposed in Venice. They love trying new restaurants together, outdoor activities like biking and enjoying the beach, meeting new people, and spending time with friends and family. Family is very important to the both of them and they're excited to start a big family of their own!
