Beautiful trails, rugged cliffs, and secluded little beaches to poke anemones and climb rocks. This park is one of our favorite places on the central coast.

Montaña de Oro State Park

Lots of overlooks along the boardwalk allow for just enjoying the ocean and the coast, and heading further north, enjoy watching the elephant seals sunning themselves at the viewpoint at the north end of the park.

San Simeon State Park

Paso Robles has some amazing wineries that can be visited individually, and there are also plenty of tours offered on sites like Trip Advisor.
