FAQs

Below are a few details that may help your planning for the day, but with anything that isn't here please feel free to ask us!
Question

But what do I wear?

Answer

Dress Code: Elegant Finca Chic We’d love everyone to feel comfortable yet celebratory. Think dressy cocktail meets Mediterranean garden party. Ladies: midi or maxi dresses, flowing fabrics, or a dressy jumpsuit in autumnal tones. Please choose shoes suitable for grass or gravel paths (block heels, wedges, or elegant flats). Gentlemen: a smart suit or blazer and trousers in lighter fabrics and earthy or classic tones. A tie is welcome but not essential. Evenings in October can be cooler, so a light jacket or wrap is a good idea.

Question

Where’s the gift list?

Answer

We live on a tiny floating caravan so there isn’t a lot of space for a shiny new air fryer. If you do really still feel like you want to give a little something then we’ll have a little cards collection box towards the party fund!

Question

Parking on the day?

Answer

The finca has plenty of parking, drive through the main gate and you will be directed. Golf carts will be ferrying the less able, and less inclined, to walk up to the welcome drinks area. Cars can be left securely in the car park overnight and collected at your leisure the next day. Please ask us for the gate code to re-enter and collect your car.

Question

What is a Sten Do?

Answer

For our wedding we thought it would be more fun if everyone attending the wedding had a combined gathering instead of individual Stag and Hen events. We’ve boxed off a small area at a beach bar with a DJ just on the edge of Altea. During the day the guys and girls will head off to do something optional for those that would like to attend, organised by the Best Men and Maid of Honour.
