Sam and Mackenzie met while attending Marquette's PA school in Milwaukee. Mackenzie, being a class above, was assigned Sam as her "mentee". They became fast friends sharing many things in common. They both attended Michigan State University for undergrad studying the same major and are originally from Michigan! Sam is also the first of Mackenzie's friends to meet Chris when they started dating! Sam now lives in Chicago and works as a surgical oncology PA.
Tanner Westerheid
Best Man
Tanner has been Chris' closest friend and confidant for over a decade. They met freshman year at Colorado State University through their fraternity. Tanner and Chris first bonded during a 25hr drive from Denver to Maryland (and back) in the summer of '14. They lived together for four years after graduating college before they both moved out of Colorado. After spending a couple years in Alabama, Tanner now is back in Denver, CO and is a commercial real estate broker, specializing in manufactured housing. He is a proud dog father of Dixie and Rue. He also can't decide if he's a broncos or cowboys fan.
Victoria Winter

Victoria is Christopher's youngest sibling and only sister. She attended UMass and is an extremely talented dancer. She is immensely creative and always making those around her laugh. Victoria and Mackenzie first met at Grandpa Niewulis' 95th birthday party. When Mackenzie visited Maryland with Christopher for their first Christmas together, Victoria and Mackenzie spent more time together than the couple did. Both are very excited to be gaining a sister though the marriage. She currently is living in Bethesda, MD and is a professional dancer.
Sean Winter
Groomsman
Sean has known Chris longer than anyone- since the womb days! Growing up as twins, there were times where they did everything together, and other times when they did polar opposites. However, something that's never changed is their shared love of movies, exploring the outdoors, and spicy/exotic foods. Sean lives in Atlanta and works as a freelancer in the film industry. He's worked on shows such as Stranger Things and Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service and does his own writing as well!
Sara Vessel

Sara and Mackenzie met through mutual friends at a party two years ago. They instantly had a twin connection (both geminis) and have been linked since. Sara is originally from Wisconsin and studied international business and finance at University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Sara and Mackenzie share their love of organization, long walks, Riley Sager, and traveling whenever possible. She’s also fluent in Spanish and share’s Mackenzie’s love of Bad Bunny! She currently lives in Milwaukee and works as an insurance underwriter.
Adam Dudek
Groomsman
Adam is Mackenzie's younger (and taller) brother. Adam and Chris first got to know each other at their family's cottage on the lake while celebrating the 4th of July. Adam lives in St. Louis, MO and conquered the St. Louis Marathon in 2024. Adam works as a demand planner and spends his free time traveling through Europe, including trips to Poland, Germany and Portugal.
Violett Cruz

Violett and Mackenzie met through mutual friends two years ago. They instantly realized the overlapping similarities between one another and quickly became close friends. They love staying in and playing video games but also love going out for a natural wine and small bites. Violett is full of love and kindness for every human and can brighten any day. Violett studied at Oregon State University and initially worked in healthcare out of college. She’s has lived all over including Texas and Oregon but currently calls Milwaukee home and now works in marketing. Violett is also the momma of the cutest golden retriever, Waylon.
Kyle Riley

Kyle and Chris met at Colorado State University and, even though they were a year apart in school, became close friends. They were roommates in college and post-grad while living in Denver. Kyle currently lives in Highlands Ranch, CO with his wife and new daughter working in Land Development. Kyle is quick to help a friend out when they need it, and is a die-hard Eagles fan.
Krista Lindwell

Krista and Mackenzie met through a mutual friend at a book club in Milwaukee four years ago. Quickly they realized how many things they had in common including their love of reading, rock climbing, and being outdoors. Krista attended Marquette University and studied advertising. While she’s a Wisconsinite at heart, she currently lives in Nashville, TN and works in digital marketing. Krista is also the mother of an adorable little ginger cat named Dobby.
Michael White

Mike and Chris became fast friends when they met at Colorado State and have continued to stay close after graduating. Both are Redskins (now known as Commanders) fans, worked at Jax Fish House shucking Oysters together, and were part of the same fraternity. Mike has been married to his wife, Hayley, since 2023 and lives in Richmond, VA with their beagle, Dobby. He works at a private equity firm and enjoys reading + traveling in his free time.
Rebecca Flanagan

Rebecca and Mackenzie met through Christopher. Becca was brought to Wisconsin for her job at Milwaukee Tool. She is originally from Colorado and attended University of Northern Colorado. Becca shares the couple’s love of board games and trivia. Their first-time meeting was at a trivia night, where the couple and Becca dominated the questions as a trio. Becca is also an incredible volleyball player and plays on a summer beach league with Mackenzie and Chris. Becca is also the mother of two feisty felines named Loki and Binx.
Nick Coleman

Nick and Chris met in the first few weeks of freshman year at Colorado State University and have been close friends since. They were in several classes together at business school, roommates, and a president/vice president duo for their fraternity. Nick is a big fan of soccer, heavy metal, and the outdoors. He and his fiancée, Sarah, are also planning a 2026 wedding!
Connor Symsack

Chris and Connor met a few days into their freshman year at Colorado State University and pledged the same fraternity shortly after (SAE). Through the following years, they focused diligently on the everything non-academic and were often helping each other get out of trouble. Connor has a passion for finance and real estate. Whenever he's not working, he is the first to plan a group trip or outing to get everyone together. Connor lives in Denver, CO and works for Charles Swabb as a Wealth Management Planner.
