The city of Chicago requires everyone age 2 and older to wear masks in indoor settings, regardless of vaccination status. At the ceremony, a mask is required when indoors, but may be taken off on the rooftop. While at the reception, please wear a mask when traveling to and from the restrooms and also when you are engaging with restaurant staff. Fresh masks will be available on the bars at both the Hotel at Midtown and Parson's.
We recommend dressy casual/cocktail attire, but feel free to wear whatever you're most comfortable in.
The ceremony is taking place outside on the Hotel at Midtown's rooftop. The reception has both outdoor and indoor seating.
We recommend guests arrive between 5:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. to allow time for parking and to enjoy pre-ceremony mingling and champagne. The ceremony will officially begin at 6:00 p.m.
We will have bus shuttle service to take guests from the ceremony at Hotel at Midtown to Parson's Chicken & Fish for dinner and drinks. The first shuttle will leave at 6:30pm and will do a second trip immediately after. Once dinner and drinks concludes around 10pm, the bus will shuttle folks back to the Hotel at Midtown if needed. You are also welcome to take your own form of transportation between the ceremony and dinner. The hotel and restaurant are 1.5 miles away from each other and a 6-10 minute drive. Feel free to Uber, Lyft, drive, or take public transportation (the Fullerton bus, route 74, picks up at Fullerton and Damen and drops off at Halsted/Lincoln).
Ceremony: The Hotel at Midtown has parking on site for $4 / hour. You can enter the parking garage from Elston Avenue. Dinner/Drinks: There is a parking garage about 2 blocks south of Parson's Chicken & Fish. The parking garage is called SP+ parking and the address is 2316 N. Lincoln Ave. For 2-4 hours, the cost is $15. There is also street parking available on Halsted in front of Parson's.
