Sorry in advance.
Please RSVP by 9/25/2025.
We'd love to see you in your best! Formal attire is recommended. But we won't kick you out based on your dress -- this isn't the Catalina Wine Mixer.
The ceremony will be in an outdoor pavilion that is entirely covered. The reception to follow will be inside. People who are misbehaving will be made to stand outside.
Our ceremony will start promptly at 5 P.M. Please arrive around 4:30. The moat will be filled with alligators at 5:01 P.M.
Due to limited space, we kindly request that you honor your invitation. Enjoy the night off! We can only accommodate children of the wedding party and those that have been formally notified and detailed on the invitation. We hope your children understand.
Although we appreciate the chance to meet important people in your life, unless it's specifically detailed on your invitation that a plus-one is welcome, we won't be able to accommodate extra people. We hope they're doing something fun that day without you.
On average, the lowest-precipitation month in Western NC is October, so although there are chances of rain, we'd expect they will be statistically smaller than usual. The average high temperature is 69 degrees & low temperature is 43 degrees. Unlike the U.S. government, we're not capable of controlling the weather. Hopefully it'll be a nice day! For weather-related updates, please ask Ron Triplett at any given point in time.
Unfortunately, there is very limited public transportation in Waynesville -- Uber and Lyft do not have a presence in this small mountain town, and thus ride-sharing options will likely be limited to people you know. As guests are anticipated to be scattered in various locations, no shuttle service will be provided. It's like the old pioneer days! We appreciate your diligent efforts to make it to our wedding!
Yes! Waynesville has a bustling local downtown with restaurants, breweries, historic sites, shopping, and of course is surrounded by incredibly beautiful natural sights -- perfect for hiking and exploring. For golfers, feel free to arrange a tee time at Waynesville Golf Club or Laurel Ridge Country Club. Likewise, if you're able to go a little out-of-the-way, Asheville, NC is about a 30-minute drive away (and if you know anything about Asheville, there's always something fun going on). You may also amuse yourself by watching paint dry.
Let us know! We can certainly accommodate any restrictions you have. We'd prefer not to be performing the Heimlich or CPR while off-duty. Thanks!
