What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/garden attire. Ladies can wear a cocktail dress or just a nice sun dress! Men can wear a suit and tie or just a nice button down and slacks. Dress to look nice, but still have fun! Don't wear heels you can't wear on the grass. The reception will be outside and in a barn, so bring a layer in case it gets chilly at night.

What shoes should I wear?

It's on the grass, please no heels! Wedges and chunky heels are ok, but no stilettoes!

Can I bring a date? Are kids allowed?

Answer

Your invite will have the amount of people that are invited in your family. Kids are welcome as long as they are on the invite. If you have any questions please let us know!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking for both. There is no transport provided to get back to where you are staying for the night. Please plan accordingly. The parking lot is located at 1095 Lewiston Rd, New Gloucester, ME 04260.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the service?

Answer

No. There is parking onsite, but there is no transportation so please plan accordingly.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We have a food truck for dinner. Please let me know if you have any allergies issues so I can work with them.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It can either be 80 degrees and sunny or snowing. We recommend checking the weather the weekend before as that is what we will be doing as well!

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, outside and barn wedding means no stairs- or very little stairs with other ways to the same spot!

Are dogs invited?

Answer

No as much as we love dogs, they are not welcome on site- please leave them with someone you trust or in the hotel room. Gus will be at daycare for a weekend getaway as well!
