What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Vermont weather is very unpredictable. One minute it can be beautiful with the sun shining, the next you may freeze. Rain, snow, wind, mud, etc. are all possibilities. Therefore, please keep an eye on the weather for the area as our special day nears and be sure to pack/dress accordingly!

Will the wedding ceremony/reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (as long as the weather cooperates). The wedding reception will be held indoors, however the reception venue is not heated. Therefore, please dress accordingly and be sure to check the weather for the area!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We love each and every one of you and your loved ones. However, we ask that you only bring a plus one if it is written on your wedding invitation.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will be providing a consumption bar, in which bar services will then shift to a cash bar for the remainder of the evening.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could possibly ask for! Many of you will be traveling great distances and taking off work to celebrate us. We truly can't thank you enough. If you would like to bless us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 6207 Cord Grass Lane, Beaufort, SC 29906. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a time gap between the wedding ceremony and the reception. This time gap will enable us to get pictures as a couple, as well as pictures with our wedding party and family members. During this time, the open bar service will be open for cocktail hour, and lawn games will be available! There will be plenty to do to pass the time, no need to worry!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

During the reception, we will have a taco truck offering 3-4 different taco options with unlimited tacos during a 2-hour service period. Guests will go up to the truck to order their tacos from the limited menu, and may order 2 tacos at a time for an unlimited number of times during the service period.

What time will your reception end?

Answer

Music in the event barn must be turned off by 11 pm and guests not staying on the property must exit by midnight.

What is the parking situation like at the venue?

Answer

There is ample parking for all guests at the wedding venue site.
