We're so excited to celebrate with all of our family and friends. All of you are a contribution to our lives and the memories we share!

Most of our family and friends know that Elena and I met through our mutual circle of friends in a Brasilian martial art called Capoeira. We like to tease that we couldn't have been further from being social friends when we first met because even though we had the same interests - we never spoke. There were several times our paths would have crossed before we met, but divine intervention didn't allow it. Over time we became more and more friendly until one faithful day I asked Elena out on a date - through Facebook Messenger. However, it was just not any date, but little did we know it would be the first date of the rest of our lives. I asked Elena to come originally to see an underground tour of the NYC subway, but was unable to get tickets, when I found out it was incredibly difficult to obtain tickets, I had to go to plan B. What was plan B? I still do not know til this day and I did what most people do when they don't have plans, just asked her out for pizza. Which to my benefit she accepted my offer and we ended up doing an 8 HOUR pizza tour that day. Needless to say we both enjoyed each others company very much from that day forward. And I can truly be happy to say that this wonderful woman is my future wife and love of my life. Through Capoeira, Art, Jazz, Museums, Movies...we found common interests and true love in the purest form. We hope that we can share our special day with all of our friends and family and hope to continue to burn the candle of love with a never-ending flame.
