Danny and Tatiana met when they both attended an event hosted for African and Caribbean students in Washington, D.C. While Tatiana went to American University and Danny went to Morgan State, they kept in touch after exchanging numbers. Danny was impressed with Tatiana's passion and dedication to her own goals and to her communities. Tatiana was intrigued by Danny's quiet confidence, thoughtfulness and ambitions. Though they lived some distance apart, they always made time for each other as their relationship grew. Since then, they've spent nine years together, and have only grown to love the qualities in each other that first hooked them. Danny and Tatiana have begun to build a life around their love and respect for each other, supporting each other through entering careers in Tech and in Law, respectively. Their favorite memories together so far are traveling to visit each other's homelands in Nigeria and Jamaica. They are looking forward to celebrating their love for one another with you this summer.
