We met in 2022 and grew close creating a farm together in Stardew Valley. Our virtual farming bloomed into dreams of having a rural homestead together one day! Even with thousands of miles between us, we spent as much time talking on the phone as much as possible. When it was time to move to New York for good, I (Brew in the words of Melissa) came out to Utah to help drive back east. 45-50 hours in the car and we never once got sick of each other. Navigating that stressful and scary change as a team showed how good of a match we were. We both saw that we could spend the rest of our lives together even though I knew it the second I laid eyes on her. Now we've eloped we want to celebrate our marriage and adoption together with friends and family.
