"How did he propose?"

Long Story Short: After a long day, at 1 in the morning. It was just us two, under the stars, and in the place that we first met.

Long Story Long: I like to watch 'Say Yes To The Dress'. So while watching the show together, I had told Tyler that I would prefer an intimate proposal over having multiple people as witnesses. I wanted us to be able to have our moment, and selfishly have it just be ours. With this in mind, Tyler’s first plan was to propose on our Bahamas cruise, envisioning a perfect moment under the stars with me. However, the cruise just didn't feel like the right place as there was never a location to be fully alone with each other. The second plan was to propose during our fall photoshoot, however, the pumpkin patch was very crowded. As much as I always envisioned a private proposal, he had wanted the same type of moment with me. So this plan was also abandoned. Though the second plan didn't pan out, he had to come up with something else quick. The morning of the fall photos, he had told his mom that no matter what, he was proposing that day, he couldn't wait any longer. The third plan was to propose on a friend's illuminated walking trail that night, however, our friends did not know what he was planning. So as you can guess by now, the two times that we walked the trail, we were not alone. On our second trip through the trail, I felt exhausted and told him that he could drive us home. As we approached the car, he headed towards the passenger side with me. I reminded him, maybe a little too harshly, “I said you can drive” and I began reaching for the door. He said lightly, “I have a question to ask you”. And in that moment, with only each other, under the same stars where we met five years earlier, everything felt perfect.
