Think back to 2014, we are in our sophomore year of High School and it's the night of the homecoming game. After mustering up the courage, I walk over to my friend of over a year, Michael, and ask him if he wants to go with me. He immediately says yes but in that I'm a cool guy sort of way. However, being the idiots you all know and love, we both forgot to get the other's number. So I walk to the stands and the crows parts and there he is my dork in a Northern skirt. After watching high schoolers play catch for a while, Michael turns to me and kisses my cheek. He immediately stands up and says "I'll be right back" and walks away. Like he leaves me alone and walks out of the stands. After talking to his friends for what felt like forever, Michael sits back down and asks me to go out with him.
For our 6 year anniversary we planned a nice date to the Baltimore Aquarium where it could just be us. However, once Meghan and Jenelle joined, I knew something was up. I was on to him from the start, well that was until Robin completely shut me down. So when we got there I wasn't really expecting anything, he had no box and seemed he fine so I accepted Robin's hint that it would be another time. But once we got to the huge walls of fish tanks, Michael starting acting a bit weird. You guys know Michael, he never really gets nervous or stressed about anything so something was up. At the exact moment I was going to talk to him, Meghan called me over to see her favorite fish the look downs. As soon as I turned around, Michael was down on one knee. I cried, he teared up and the lovely photographer Janelle caught it all on video.
We can't wait for everyone to join us
