We were set up by mutual friends (shoutout Gracie and Robbie!) who thought we might be a good match. Our first date was at Old Hat, a cocktail bar in Alexandria, VA in late April 2024. After Mike entered into a Chipotle-induced food coma that night, Erin didn't think there would be a second date. Low and behold, we found ourselves at a mini golf course a few weeks later, and romantically strolling along the Wharf in Washington, D.C. a few days after that. After Mike got over the fact that I did indeed win mini golf fair and square, he asked me (Erin) to be his girlfriend at a Nats game on May 24, 2024. The day after we get married will be our two year anniversary!

After getting delayed by the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill, a monsoon rainstorm, and an unexpected two-hour nap, Mike proposed at Our Lady of the Mount Chapel in his hometown of Warren, New Jersey on July 3, 2025. To Mike's delight, Erin was totally surprised - she thought the only thing being celebrated that weekend was America's 249th birthday.

We are so overjoyed to have you join us in celebration as we enter into the sacrament of holy matrimony. We want to share a special thank you to our friends and family who have helped us grow into the people we are today. We are grateful to each and every one of you. Let's party like a Hardy!
