Gina and Seth met the modern way (online!) in October 2024. On their first date at Postino in Houston, Seth was immediately drawn to Gina’s passion about her family, work, and her love of travel, while Gina noticed Seth’s genuine smile, especially when he talked about his family and discussed Houston’s incredible food scene. What started out as one great date quickly turned into countless adventures, including multiple trips, many of which Seth trusted Gina to plan. Together, they explored Mexico City (Seth's very first passport stamp), Chicago, New York, West Texas, Phoenix, and Sedona. Gina took Seth to her grandmother’s beach house on Long Island, and Seth introduced Gina to his family’s bay house in Biloxi (after a detour through the LSU campus). Along the way, Seth has fully embraced some Texas traditions, like attending the Houston Rodeo and steadily expanding his cowboy boot collection, while Gina has twice celebrated Mardi Gras in New Orleans with the entire Harvey family. Gina can't wait to add another stamp to Seth's passport: a honeymoon in Italy! The more time they spent together, the more certain they became that they had each found the person they were meant to grow with through every season of life. From the biggest adventures to the quietest moments, they knew they wanted to choose one another for a lifetime. Seth proposed in November 2025, managing to surprise Gina after Sunday brunch in Houston. A friend of Seth’s acted as photographer, and a celebratory gelato capped off an exciting afternoon. *** As we begin this next chapter, we are excited to celebrate with the people who helped shape us. Our wedding will include meaningful traditions: the wedding ceremony at the church where Gina was baptized; an Italian style post-ceremony receiving line, inspired by Gina’s time studying abroad; and some jazz music and a Second Line exit, a nod to Seth’s Louisiana roots.
