Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

All events (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) will take place at Fox Meadow Barn in Winchester, VA.

When and Where do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 16th on our wedding website. You are welcome to RSVP before this date once you receive a formal invitation!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan on arriving at least 15-30 minutes early to give yourself time to grab a water and wedding program, fill out the guestbook, and find a seat before the ceremony begins at 5pm.

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can't make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will be marked as "no." We have to provide the final guest count to vendors within the time they have given us. We will miss celebrating with you, and thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a guest / +1's not noted on my invitation?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP on our wedding website. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for both yourself and your guest.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, or creams. Feel free to swap uncomfortable dress shoes for sneakers, flats, or cowboy boots during the reception! Please be aware that the ceremony, weather permitting, will be held outside. While there is a paved walkway down to the ceremony location, the seating area is on grass.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Although we can't predict the exact weather, temperatures in Winchester, VA in August are typically around mid-80s during the day and mid-60s at night.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you keep your phones on silent and away during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos the rest of the night! There will also be a QR code to our shared photo album. Please find the QR code at your place setting during the reception. Utilize this online photo album to add your pictures as well as view others' pictures from the wedding! Keep a lookout 8-10 weeks after the wedding as we will upload our own wedding pictures to it.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After we say "I do," we welcome you to join us for cocktail hour on the patio where we will serve beer, wine, and light hors d'oeuvres. We will take our seats inside the barn for dinner at 6:30pm.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking on site. On August 16th, the venue and venue parking lot will only be available to our guests.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, the venue is accessible! However, there are two things to note. 1) The ceremony location has a paved walkway but the seating area is on grass. 2) The parking lot is gravel. Feel free to drop off guests with any disability right by the main doorway/paved sidewalk.

Where should I stay?

Answer

While we do not have hotel room blocks reserved, there are many hotels available very close to the venue. Please see our Travel Page for suggestions and more information.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Heck yeah! We will be offering select wine, beer, and seltzers. Please drink responsibly and have a ride home arranged if you plan on drinking. We want all of our loved ones to get home safe! If needed, the venue has graciously allowed cars to park overnight Saturday. Please retrieve your car ASAP Sunday morning.

Can I smoke on the property?

You are welcome to smoke in the designated smoking area on the back patio.

Do you have a registry? What address should I ship gifts to?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all! While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items to help us kickstart our life together. Our registry can be found in the Registry Page at the top of this wedding website. The address which to ship gifts will be made available when ordering through our wedding website.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love all of your little ones! However, due to many factors, we respectfully request that you only bring children that are included on your invitation.

What will our wedding environment require from everyone?

Answer

We are honored and excited to be able to share this event with every single one of you, and we require an inclusive and safe environment to share the love.
