The best airports to fly into are: • Frankfurt Airport (FRA) – One of Europe’s largest international hubs with many direct flights from the United States and around the world. • Munich Airport (MUC) – A major international airport with many global connections. • Nuremberg Airport (NUE) – The closest larger airport to Kronach.
Travel Note
Because many guests will be traveling internationally: • We recommend arriving at least 1–2 days before the wedding to adjust to the time change and recover from long travel days. • International travel plus train connections can take most of a day depending on where you’re coming from. • Leaving extra time for train connections is always helpful. Once you arrive in Kronach, most hotels and venues are just a short taxi ride or walk from the town center.

Train Travel Approximate travel times to Kronach Station: • From Nuremberg Airport – about 2–2.5 hours • From Frankfurt Airport – about 3.5–4 hours • From Munich Airport – about 3.5–4 hours Most routes require one or two transfers, which is very common for train travel in Germany. Train schedules and tickets can be found on the website for Deutsche Bahn.
