Let's take y'all back to 2015 when Drucilla walked into a party wearing a pink and white striped Steve Madden shirt and the shortest jean shorts she could put on. When she stepped on the porch, she smelled the aroma of burgers and was thrilled. She opened the door and saw Luke in the kitchen cooking. Luke was sporting his classic look, a t-shirt and some basketball shorts. They locked eyes and to be honest, everything after that is history. We have been by each other's side in the hardest moments and the greatest moments. We are each other's biggest fans. We are so happy to have each one of you celebrate us in this next step in our relationship.

It's not because we got big backs. Donuts have been a subplot in our journey together! It started with a donut pattern on Drucilla's CNA scrubs back in 2016. Then we celebrated on our six-month anniversary with a "Happy Half a Dozen" and did the same thing for our sixth year. Luke had a donut-shaped glass artwork commissioned as a gift one year. We've kept the donut thing going throughout. We don't even eat donuts like that. It's sort of like our version of the ferryboat scrub cap (iykyk). Well that's enough of a history lesson on these two sprinkles. Here's to many more dozens of love!
