Stephen and I met at Catch the Wind Prophetic Ministries Church in Augusta, GA, February 2007. We have been friends throughout the years. On 5/21/2020, I texted Giles, “I want you to be brutally honest with me, why am I still single?” On 5/23/2020, Giles and I face called each other so that he could properly present his response. He informed me that I was still single because I was supposed to be his wife. He said that if he was to ever marry again that I would be the one. He apologized for making me wait all of those years. We talked for about 8 hours. We also face called his mom, my parents, his children, and his cousin. Before the end of that call, we decided to start virtually dating. With each passing day, we grew fonder and fonder of each other. On 6/6/2020, he asked me to be his girlfriend/woman/significant other. He has always had a special place in my heart, but I no longer saw him as “just a friend,” I began to see him as my future husband. On 7/28/2020, he officially proposed to me with a SURPRISE, dream come true cinderalla proposal and engagement party. I was completely stunned! It was a breathtaking, mind blowing experience. We both went through various relationships. We now know that we had to endure all of those trials and tests so that it could be part of our testimony. It is my deepest prayer that everybody get the opportunity to marry their prayer partner, best friend, number one fan who is commited to God first. This union has been ordained by God. We have prayed together, fasted together, read scriptures together, laughed together, and cried together. If God can do it for us 13 years later during this pandemic, then HE WILL surely do it for you in HIS perfect timing. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. You have to trust God, lean not unto your own understanding, believe that dreams do come true, and remember that God does answer prayers. Be blessed! We both love you with the love of God!
