Dreams Do Come True

How She Says It Happened: I was working at a gym at the time. He came in and instantly I thought he was handsome, however working at a gym-good looking guys aren't always nice and they come and go. He signed up for a day pass so, my first thought was dang the cute ones never come back. For some reason this one came back 2 days later. He had two co-workers at the time who I had casually gotten to know at work come talk to me. I wore this frumpy purple and khaki uniform and to be honest it was not flattering. His friends came up and told me he thought I was cute. I was dumbfounded, first response was " does he know how old I am?". He came back before the end of the night to get my number, he told me it was my happy energy and smile that caught his eye. I guess he decided he wanted a Lifetime Membership into my life because a week later he asked me to be his exclusively-- 3 yrs later and here we are. How He Saw It: I walked in with my two co workers ready to workout as I saw this beautiful girl working behind the counter. I quickly realized I forgot my headphones in my car so I walked up to her and asked "is it ok if I run outside and grab them real quick?" She replied with a smile and her upbeat personality "of course you're fine" The way she said that was kinda sounding flirtatious, like she had called me fine. So I ran out and grabbed them and got to my workout. I was telling my co workers she totally flirted with me and asked them if they knew if she was single or not. My co worker told me she was and said I should go talk to her. I was so nervous I couldn't, so I left after we were done working out. As I was driving home I thought to myself turn around Alex! Turn around! So I did and came back a little while later and approached her. She remembered me and said" back again Alex?" My face turned red as I said "yes actually I was just wondering if by chance I could get your phone number?" Turns out turning around and coming back was the best decision I have ever made!
