Our story began in high school. Cass was a freshman, Jake was a sophomore, and for a while we were just friends, growing up side by side. Somewhere between homework, hallway conversations, and teenage awkwardness, something bigger began to form. After a few years of friendship, Jake finally found the courage to ask Cass on their first date. The night that included Famous Pizza and Sweet Frog. It wasn’t fancy, but it was perfect. (Honestly, it still might be one of our favorite dates.) When graduation came and college took us in new directions, we made a promise without ever really saying it out loud that we would always make time for each other. No matter how busy life became, weekends were ours. Through late-night drives, long phone calls, and learning how to be adults together, we kept choosing each other again and again. Ten years later, we’ve grown up a lot — but in so many ways, we’re still those same kids who fell in love over pizza and frozen yogurt. We’ve built a life filled with laughter, loyalty, and two very spoiled dogs, Gibby and Petey, who remind us daily who really runs the house. What started as a high school friendship turned into the greatest love story we could have imagined. We are so grateful for every chapter that brought us here — and even more grateful to celebrate the next one surrounded by all of you. 🤍
