Brandon and I actually met through our mutual friend Jeff. Jeff randomly texted me one day and goes “hey add my buddy Brandon on Facebook.” Well I worked at a prison at the time, so I was always hesitant to just add random weirdos to my page. Sure enough I see Brandon’s friend request in my box. Mind you at this point it’s been there for weeks if not months. His profile pic looked like that of someone who’s probably done some time.... but my mom always told me don’t judge a book by its cover. Which by the way he hasn’t done any time. LOL After my shift at work that day Jeff told me to come to his house for a beer so I could meet Brandon. At this point I was annoyed and wasn’t having it but for whatever reason I still went. I walked in the garage and there behind the lift is Brandon. Who only leans out long enough to smile and say “HI.” Could you say AWKWARD. The conversations continued as Jeff, Abbey, Brandon, and I continued to crack open some cold ones. What was suppose to be just a meet and greet turned into a few hours. Which has since now turned in to a few years and an engagement. We are truly excited to take this next step in our relationship and can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family for our big day!
