We’re so excited to celebrate with you!

Alyssa started working at Valley Medical Center August 2018, and Danial started shortly after in January of 2019. Danial and Alyssa became quick friends, and ended up working almost every day together. Alyssa mentioned to Danial early on that she had a boyfriend, but the relationship was short-lived and the topic never came back up. It wasn’t until June that it came up again. Danial knew Alyssa was going on a trip to Peru, and asked who she was going with, such as “Some friends, you family, your boyfriend...?”. Alyssa responded by saying it was a church group, and they talked more about the upcoming mission’s trip. Shortly after, Alyssa realized “OMG, I should have told him that I wasn’t dating anyone! What if he was trying to subtly ask me about it?!” (Dan stands by the fact this was not the case, and he previously had no romantic interest in her because he thought she was still in a relationship). Either way, Alyssa brought it back up and mentioned she was single, and the conversation took a turn into talking about relationships until Dan finally asked her out. Until that conversation, it wasn’t something that either of us had been considering. It felt right at that moment, and the rest is history! ❤️
